Flaming Dragon

I did something original? Eh, well, I have a short story about this one.

Several months ago, I had a bit of a lucid dream. Apparently I was attending my elementary school, and we were predicting a fire drill coming up later in the day. Somehow, it was night outside as well. The fire bell rings, and fire starts to burst up. We all scrambled to get outside. Once we were outside, I looked up towards the sky, a flaming dragon swoops down and burns the school to ashes. As the flaming dragon starts flying away, I had a moment where I figured I was dreaming, and I can do whatever I want. I pulled the dragon back down to the ground, and got up on its back. I flew off with this dragon. Despite it being on fire, it felt warm. We rode through the clouds, and into the skies above. I didn't have a single care in the world in that moment.

So yeah, this is that dragon. It was an awesome feeling that I wish could happen more often in my dreams. I'm glad I remembered most of what happened in the dream as well... But yeah, there's also a follow-up to that dream.

When I woke up, I thought it'd be a great idea to tell EVERYONE. I rode a flaming dragon! It was awesome! We were flying through the sky! Then I woke up again. This time for real. I still figured that it was a good idea to talk about it with people. I mean, this just doesn't happen often enough.
